Health House News Basics Victims Resources

How can FIN help...

We provide information and referrals for free to the extent possible with our limited means. We must insist on our document fees from attorneys and anyone using our information to further a for-profit enterprise. We encourage victims and attorneys who win judgments to give a small donation, say 2 percent, to FIN. We ask that doctors, industrial hygienists and others who receive money-making referrals as a result of their FIN listing to please make a meaningful donation.

Victims: If you have reason to believe you have been injured by fiberglass, either at work or in your home, please contact FIN at once. Please join our database.  Be sure to read our articles on determining whether there is fiberglass in your home, removing fiberglass from your home, and getting better.  The stories of the fiberglass victims may also help you determine whether you have been exposed.

Doctors are a critical first link for people injured by fiberglass. If you can't recognize someone suffering from fiberglass overdose, you can't make a correct diagnosis and treatment.  Knowledgeable medical practitioners specializing in asthma, reactive airway disease, allergies, chemical exposures, kinisiology, ENT and alternative healing therapies are badly needed to assist victims.  Please join our database; it's free for now!

Doctors stated above, as well as experts in indoor air quality, air sampling and analysis, and HVAC system design, who are comfortable testifying in a courtroom are especially valuable.  You can expect numerous referrals by joining our database; it's free for now!  Your expertise could make the difference in somebody's quest for justice!

Attorneys who would like to help fiberglass victims are encouraged to join our database while it is still free. Seasoned trial attorneys who enjoy a good, hard fight are particularly valued. Fiberglass injury trials are difficult; precedents are still being set. In exchange for a potentially valuable referral, all we ask is that you treat fiberglass victims fairly and not force your client to sign a secrecy agreement.  FIN believes fiberglass-injury lawsuits will be very lucrative one day. Will you be the next Ward Stephenson?

Clean-up companies:  We can trade links if you can offer a commission to FIN for services and products sold to consumers coming directly from this site.  Please join our database while its free. FIN is especially hopeful to find reputable companies which:

  • perform air testing
  • really know how to clean homes
  • are licensed and experienced in renovating contaminated homes and HVAC systems

Selling products to help clean up and recovery: We can trade links if you can offer a commission to FIN for sales to consumers coming directly from this site.  Please join our database while its free.  FIN is especially hopeful to find reputable companies which offer:

  • air filters and portable filtration units
  • non-toxic cleaning products
  • non-toxic ducts for homes and offices
  • alternatives to fiberglass insulation
  • products to make energy efficient homes

Tradespersons, union reps and regulators: please send us your MMMF-related stories from the trenches. Just because a working person wants to put a roof over their family's head and food on the table every night, that doesn't mean they should have to die young from cancer.  Want to get published on the web?  Have a good story to tell?  Write it all down and get it to us any way you can, e-mail works best.

Do-it-yourselfers: read our web site before you install or remove fiberglass insulation, or before you remodel your home and disturb insulation.

Fiberglass industry people: We encourage your dialogue, and will maintain your confidentiality if preferred.  We'd love to hear from anyone in the industry who's feeling bad about what they've done.

Media. If possible, we will set you up with fiberglass victims in your coverage area.  It can happen almost anywhere to nearly anyone.  It is true human interest.
