Air filters:

HEPA or better is necessary to remove tiny mineral fibers.

This Swedish marvel combines patented filtration technology with superior electical efficiency.  It is sleek, very quiet and traps up to 99.9% of airborne particles (dander, smoke, pollen, dust) as small as .01 microns.  It's built-in ion chamber produces negative ions that bond to particles and trap them inside the unit. HEPA filters should be replaced twice a year, based on 24-hour-per day usage.

The six-stage filtering process in this beauty combines gas absorption, ultra-violet technology, and ionization to the standard HEPA and carbon filters, and throws in a macro pre-filter for a two-year filter life.
